To manage stress can begin by working out what the things in your life that are stressing you. It could be that report or article your boss has demanded you get out by 10:00 am tomorrow morning, or that spread sheet you need to complete by 2:00 pm on Wednesday for an important meeting with a client. It could be your lack of motivation that you are getting stressed about or not knowing how to manage stress will cause plain old procrastination.
Rather than just turning to pills, cigarettes, alcohol or over-eating you should try to change the situation that is making you stressed. Doing nothing or avoiding the situation by going out just sweeps the issue under the carpet. Meaning you’re not dealing with managing stress.
